Logan woman hospitalised with burns to her chest, abdomen, leg

A woman’s recovering in hospital this morning, after suffering multiple burn injuries in the Logan area overnight.

Paramedics were called to a home in Boronia Heights around midnight, where they found the woman in her 60s.

She had sustained burns to her chest, abdomen and legs prior to their arrival.

She was briefly assessed at the scene before being taken to the Royal Brisbane Hospital in a stable condition.

Critical care paramedics were on board for transport.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services weren’t called to the Boronia Heights address.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson says it was a small fire incident.
