A BEACHSIDE park on the border of Queensland and NSW has reopened to the public following a major upgrade.
Eighty thousand dollars was spent upgrading Duranbah Park, or Lovers Rocks Park, next to Duranbah Beach.
Over eight weeks, three new shelters were installed at the park, along with new barbecues, showers, and walkways.

The project replaced shelters that had stood at the park for 30 years.
