WINNING Lotto is something Australian’s dream of doing just once in a lifetime, but one man is today celebrating after discovering he has won division one twice in just one week!
The man in his 40s from Bondi, Sydney took home $1,428,571.43 after scooping the win in Saturday’s $20 million Lotto Superdaw.
He was one of 14 winners across the country.

As well as winning the division one prize, the man’s system 10 entry won a total of 145 times with multiple divisional wins – bolstering his total prize to $1,457,834.33
If you thought that was lucky, Saturday’s win comes just five days after the man won $1,020,487.00 in last Monday’s Lotto draw, taking his combined total of both wins to $2,478,321.33.
When speaking with a NSW Lotteries official, the Bondi local described his shock at winning for a second time.
“Absolutely terrific! I’m quite stoked! Twice in a week or five days really!” he exclaimed.
“I just thought this is too good to be true!
“The chances of winning twice in such a short period of time must be non-existent!
“I wish I had some advice to others on how to win the lottery but I don’t – God has just looked after me!”
When asked if the second Lotto windfall changed his original plans for his win, he revealed he was still planning on investing in real estate.
“As I said the other day when I won, I’m not going to be stupid with it and I still plan to invest it wisely in real estate but I guess I’m now more financially secure.
“I’ll still hope to buy something in Bondi or maybe on the Gold Coast.
“A holiday to Honolulu goes without saying.
“I did treat myself to a nice brand new car though but the rest I will be sensible with definitely.”
