A large boat has had a lucky escape after it became wedged under the Sundale Bridge in Southport this morning.
Marine Rescue were called in about 7.00am and managed to tow the boat from under the bridge before peak high tide struck just after 9.30am.
A number of water police crews were also on scene to ensure the area was safe.

It’s not known at this stage if anyone was driving the vessel, with reports it may have drifted.
