Crews will work through the afternoon to rescue a crane that has fallen into Sydney Harbour.
The boom of the machine crashed into the water at Milsons Point around 1.30pm on Tuesday.
The iconic Luna Park smile watched on, just metres away, while witnesses were helpless.

It’s believed the crane was working on the ferry wharf near the theme park.
There is no word on whether the crane operator was inside the cabin at the time. No injuries have been reported.
