Lynch clinches SUNS’ Club Champion Award

TOM LYNCH has capped off a stellar season with the Gold Coast Suns by taking out his first Club Champion Award.

The key forward taking out the honour with 131 votes, just two ahead of Kade Kolodjashnij (129) and Steven May (102) in front of a sold out crowd at Sharks Event Centre in Southport last night.

Lynch played 20 of a possible 22 games this season and was the club’s leading goalkicker for the second season in a row with 43 goals.

He was also handed the Players’ Player Award for stepping into a leadership role following season-ending injuries to Gary Ablett and David Swallow.

While Kolodjashnij took home the Most Improved Award.
