M1 crash causing delays for morning motorists

UPDATE @ 9.30 AM | TWO women have suffered chest injuries in a two-car crash on the Pacific Motorway this morning.

The accident happened at the Tallebudgera Creek Road off-ramp around 8.30am.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson told myGC the motorists were treated at the scene by paramedics for minor chest injuries.

They have since been taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

EARLIER @ 9.00AM | A multi-vehicle crash is causing dramas for motorists on the Pacific Motorway this morning.

The accident happened northbound near the Tallebudgera exit around 8.30am.

At least one lane has been blocked in the area, with traffic quickly banking up.

It’s not yet known how many people, if any, have been injured.

Motorists are being urged to allow extra travel time.
