M1 crash causing delays for morning motorists

UPDATE 10:45 AM | TWO multi-vehicle crashes are causing headaches for motorists on the Pacific Motorway.

The first accident happened in the southbound lanes at Arundel, near Exit 66, just after 10am.

A few minutes later, three cars collided nose-to-tail in the southbound lanes at Coomera, near Exit 54.

Both accidents are causing heavy delays for motorists heading south through the area.

It’s understood the wreckage from the first crash has since been cleared, however, delays are continuing.

Crews are still working to clear the scene at Coomera. Traffic here is backed up for at least six kilometres.

Thankfully, no one is believed to have been seriously injured in either collision.
