M1 rollover causing traffic chaos for afternoon motorists

UPDATE @ 1.30PM | A motorist has miraculously managed to escape serious injury after a car rollover on the Pacific Motorway this afternoon.

The accident happened southbound at Loganholme, just near the Hyperdome shopping centre, around 12.15pm.

Witnesses told myGC the car was “completely shattered and on its roof”.

Paramedics treated a person at the scene for a minor wrist injury and the patient declined transport to hospital.

Traffic is still quite heavy in the area, however the major delays have since eased.

EARLIER @ 12.30PM | Emergency crews have rushed to the scene of a serious crash on the Pacific Motorway this afternoon.

It’s understood one car has rolled southbound at Tanah Merah, near the Logan Hyperdome.

It’s not yet known how many people, if any, have been injured.

One lane is open southbound, with lengthy delays currently being experienced.

At the time of writing, traffic was banked up back to Slacks Creek.

Northbound traffic is also starting to build in the area.
