A small earthquake has been detected in western Australia.
The quake, measuring in as a magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale, struck 265km west of Uluru in the Central Ranges of Western Australia around 3.55am Tuesday, according to Geoscience Australia.
Geoscience said the quake, which struck at a depth of 20km, could have been felt by people up to 62km away.
