Major Aussie game show set to be filmed on the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast is set to host the production of a TV show, with reports Millionaire Hot Seat will move to the city.

It’s understood the show will film around 30 episodes over the next seven weeks.

Eddie McGuire has flown into Queensland yesterday, along with scores of AFL staff and players and their families.


He’s expected to quarantine for the next two weeks then spend a couple of months up here.

While arrangements for the movement of staff and set ups for popular show Millionaire Hot Seat have reportedly been made as well.

The game show was forced to stop filming in Melbourne due to the coronavirus crisis, and will now set up at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

It’s understood the upcoming episodes will only feature Queensland contestants, and will air later this year.
