Three people have been hospitalised after a multi-car crash on the M1 this morning, and significant delays are expected.
Five cars were involved in the collision, which happened in the northbound lanes through Currumbin shortly before 7.00am.
Paramedics assessed five patients at the scene near exit 95, though three needed further treatment.

They’re all believed to be in a stable condition, with minor injuries.
Two were taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, while another one was taken to Tweed Heads Hospital.
The smash has closed the right hand lane, as emergency services deal with the vehicles.
Delays are back over the border, reaching into Tweed Heads.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area, with lengthy delays expected to continue.
