UPDATE @ 10.30am | THREE people have been taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the M1.
It happened in the southbound lanes through Nerang just after 9.00am.
Queensland Ambulance says the trio were all taken to the Gold Coast University in a stable condition.

Traffic is now starting to flow through but motorists can expect the residual delays to continue for some time.
EARLIER @9.30AM | MOTORISTS are being warned of massive delays on the M1 this morning after a serious crash in Nerang.
It happened in the southbound lanes of the motorway just after Exit 66 to Smith Street just after 9.00am.
The two right lanes lanes are blocked.
There are lengthy delays all the way back to Helensvale. Smith Street heading towards the M1 is also experiencing delays.
Emergency services are on scene.
