Making a Murderer’s Brendan Dassey is set to be released today after 10 years behind bars.
The 27-year-old, whose high profile case featured in the popular Netflix documentary, was ordered a release by a US judge on Monday.
Dassey was sentenced to life in prison for the co-murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005, however his conviction was overturned in August after a judge established that he had been tricked into a confession by investigators.

The state is now appealing.
Local media say Dassey’s release comes with a number of conditions, some of which include that he cannot contain a passport or contact his uncle Steven Avery.
