Man, 102, charged with aggravated indecent assault

A 102-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with aggravated indecent assault after allegedly assaulting an elderly woman at an aged care home in Sydney.

The man, who lives at the Carrington Road facility in Waverley, allegedly indecently assaulted a 94-year-old woman at the home shortly after midday on Tuesday.

Staff called police who attended the facility and, following inquiries, arrested the 102-year-old man.


The man was taken to Waverley Police Station where he was charged with aggravated indecent assault.

He’s been granted conditional bail and is due to front Waverley Local Court on Tuesday, November 20.

And that is how it happens because there are no differential areas for the degree of dementia. Bupa has a policy of “all one level” so then you have totally deranged, sometimes violent and aggressive residents roaming around with people who can’t protect themselves. It is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Disgraceful!!! Oh and, of course, there is no ratio of Carers/Nursers to care for the Residents…again $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Which also shows the disgusting food given to the Residents….how about a CORDIAL drink for your lunch???
