A SWIMMING instructor has been charged with raping a girl under the age of 10 and sexually abusing another while he was supposed to be teaching them how to swim at a complex on Sydney’s North Shore.
The 20-year-old man is accused of sexually abusing the two girls, aged just six and eight, on separate occasions during swimming lessons at a pool in the exclusive suburb of Mosman in February.
Following extensive investigations, Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad* arrested the 20-year-old instructor at his home at Balgowlah just before midday on Tuesday.

The man was taken to Manly Police Station where he was charged with two counts of intentionally sexually touching a child under 10 years, and having sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 10 years.
The 20-year-old was remanded in custody overnight and due to appear in Manly Local Court today.
The man’s employment with the swim school was previously suspended, police said.
Investigations into the allegations against the man are continuing.
