A 24-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested over the slaying of three children, found dead in a house in the U.S.
Three girls under 10 were found dead inside the house in Clinton in Prince George’s County, Maryland, around 7.30am on Friday local time. A fourth child, a 2-year-old, was found alive and unharmed.
Homicide detectives are working to establish their relationships.

It’s understood the mother of at least one of the deceased children raised the alarm and called 911 after arriving at the property and making the horrific discovery.
It is not yet known who was caring for the children or who was at the home in the 6400 block of Brooke Jane Drive at the time of the gruesome killings.
Exactly how the young girls died is not yet clear. In a press conference, police said the children had experienced ‘trauma to the body’. The exact time of their deaths is yet to be determined.
Following a major manhunt, a 24-year-old man was arrested over the triple homicide late on Friday.
His relationship with the children is not known, although police have confirmed he lived in the same block as the home where the children were found.
Prince George’s County State Attorney Angela Alsobrooks said the community was “heartbroken”.
“We woke up this morning, as hard as it is, to yet another nightmare…we are absolutely heartbroken,” she said.
Counselors were also on hand for investigators and other first responders working at the traumatic scene, said
“This is one of the most difficult that our officers have arrived on,” Jennifer Donelan, a spokeswoman for Prince George’s County police said.
