A MAN in 20s will spend tonight locked up behind bars in NSW, charged with grooming a child online.
The 27-year-old was arrested in Lismore on Friday morning and charged with using a carriage service to groom a child under the age of 16.
Police will allege the man engaged the child in email conversations and exchanged images with them.

He has been refused bail and will spend the night in custody ahead of his court appearance tomorrow.
Detective Chief Inspector Cameron Lindsay said “the case highlights the dangers the internet presents to teenagers and we encourage all parents to monitor their children’s interaction online”.
