Man, 42, accused of sexually assaulting, raping girls at Gold Coast horse-riding facility

A MAN has been arrested and charged with multiple counts indecent assault, rape and having sex with a child following a protracted police investigation on the Gold Coast.

The 46-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting three 15-year-old girls in the last seven years.

The girls were all allegedly assaulted at a horse-riding facility on the Coast between 2010 and 2017.

Police said the Coombabah man worked at the facility and fear there could be more victims.

The 46-year-old man has since been charged with a long list of serious child sex offences, including two counts of procuring a young person for sex and nine counts of indecently treating a child.

The man is also facing four charges of having sex (carnal knowledge) with a child under the age of 16 and one count each of rape and grooming a child under the age of 16 for sex.

He is scheduled to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday, March 15.

Detectives believe there may be more victims and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
