A MIDDLE-AGED man charged with child prostitution offences after allegedly giving a young girl drugs and money for sex has been released on bail hours after being arrested at his home in Sydney’s northwest.
Jason Scott, 49, allegedly had sex with his 15-year-old victim at a hotel in Parramatta last October, and at Killara on Sydney’s Upper North Shore in November.
The pair allegedly met through a friend of the girl and Mr Scott gave her meth (ice) and money in exchange for sex on both occasions.

The teenager contacted police and, following inquiries, detectives from the state’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad arrested the man at his home in Kellyville on Tuesday morning.
He was taken to Castle Hill Police station where he was charged with two counts each of having sexual intercourse with a person aged between 14 and 16, and causing a child aged between 14 and 18 to do act of child prostitution.
The 49-year-old appeared in Parramatta Local Court where he was granted strict conditional bail ahead of his next appearance on August 22.
As part of his conditions, Mr Scott must report daily to police, adhere to a strict 8pm-6am curfew, and must not contact any girl under the age of 16.
He also must stay away from international points of departure, is banned from drugs and alcohol and was forced to surrender a $7000 surety.
