A MAN has been extradited to New South Wales, charged with more than 250 historic child sex offences.
Strike Force Lozano – comprising detectives from Lake Macquarie Local Area Command – was formed to investigate allegations of multiple child sexual assault offences committed in the 1970s and 1980s at a school near Morisset, Lake Macquarie.
In November 2011, Detectives commenced extradition proceedings against a man living in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Last week, the High Court in New Zealand authorised the man’s extradition to New South Wales.
The 67-year-old man was extradited overnight Tuesday and taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with 252 child sexual assault offences.
The man was refused bail and held in custody until his appearance in Parramatta Local Court today.
