Man, 68, crashes into toddlers room

THERE has been a lucky escape for a young toddler on the Gold Coast today after a car crashed through his room.

Paramedics said a 68-year-old man reversed through the Paradise Point home on Warrie Close shortly before 9am.

The car ploughed through the tot’s nursery and over his bed, just moments after he was taken out of the room.

The driver was out of his car, conscious and alert when paramedics arrived, his car hanging out of a brick wall.

He received only minor injuries and refused to be transported to hospital.
