A 69-YEAR-OLD man accused of being in a sexual relationship with a teenage boy has been arrested on the New South Wales South Coast.
Detectives from the state’s Child Abuse Squad were first made aware of the incident earlier this month after receiving reports the older man had befriended the 15-year-old boy and developed a sexual relationship with him.
Following investigations, the 69-year-old was arrested at a home in Shoalhaven on Wednesday afternoon.

NSW Police released a statement shortly before midday on Thursday, confirming the arrest.
The accused was taken to the Ulladulla Police Station for extensive questioning and has since been charged with 11 counts of having sexual intercourse with a person aged 14-16 years.
The man was refused bail to appear at Milton Local Court later today.
The Child Abuse Squad is comprised of detectives who are specially trained to investigate crimes against children, including sexual assault, physical abuse and serious cases of neglect.
