Man, 82, accused of exposing himself to boy in public toilet

AN man in his 80s has been arrested and charged with performing an act of indecency in front of a 15-year-old boy in a public toilet at a park in the NSW Southern Highlands.

The incident is alleged to have occurred in a toilet block on Argyle Street in Moss Vale on Wednesday.

It was about 4.30pm when police say the 15-year-old boy walked into the toilet and entered a cubicle next to one being occupied by the 82-year-old man.


It’s alleged that’s when the 82-year-old exposed himself to the boy and committed an indecent act.

Police were notified and arrested the elderly man at the scene.

He was taken to Southern Highlands Police Station where he was formally charged with wilful and obscene exposure in a public place.

The 82-year-old was released on conditional bail and will front Moss Vale Local Court next month.
