A 90-YEAR-OLD man is in a serious condition in hospital after being run over by a school bus in Sydney’s Inner West.
The elderly gentleman was struck by a private school bus on Appian Way in Burwood around 8am on Wednesday.
Police have been told the elderly man was standing beside his parked car at the time.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he remains this evening in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the bus, a 71-year-old man, was taken to Concord Hospital for mandatory blood and urine testing.
About 40 students on the bus were transferred to another bus and taken to school.
The Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
