Man, 92, assaulted, shoved to the ground over parking dispute

A WOMAN has been arrested and charged after allegedly assaulting a 92-year-old man over a parking dispute in Sydney’s west.

It happened outside the elderly man’s house on Bradman Street at Greystanes on November 27.

It’s alleged the 36-year-old woman parked her car across the man’s driveway and allegedly began screaming abuse at the gentleman before shoving him to the ground when he asked her to move it.

The 92-year-old man phoned police who, following investigations, arrested the woman yesterday.

She was taken to Granville Police Station and charged with one count each of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and intimidation.

The Greenacre woman was released on bail and is due to appear at Fairfield Local Court next month.
