Man accused of damaging ambulance in Sydney

A man has been charged after allegedly damaging an ambulance in Sydney’s south-west on Easter Sunday.

Just after 12.30am, paramedics asked police to help them with a patient on Pinnacle Street at Sadlier.

Paramedics were treating a 17-year-old boy when a 29-year-old man became aggressive towards them, allegedly punching and smashing a window of the ambulance.


The man was arrested and taken to Cabramatta Police Station.

He has been charged with obstruct or hinder ambulance officer by act of violence, and destroy or damage property.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear in Liverpool Local Court on Friday 5 may 2017.
