Man accused of indecently assaulting girl, 8, in NSW park
A MAN has been arrested and charged with indecently assaulting an eight-year-old girl in a park in the state’s Illawarra region.
Wollongong police were notified of the alleged assault on Wednesday 25 May. Following an extensive investigation, a 22-year-old man surrendered to Narellan Police Station yesterday afternoon.
He was arrested and charged with three counts of indecently assaulting a child under the age of 16.
Police said the man was known to the girl and allegedly indecently assaulted her in a park when she was eight-years-old.
He was granted bail to appear at Camden Local Court on Thursday 29 September.
