A TIP OFF has lead police to charge a man with numerous child abuse offences, after he allegedly filmed children in public on the NSW far north coast.
Nimbin Police were started an investigation back in February last year after receiving information a man was filming children in the local township.
During investigations, they spoke with a 28-year-old man and seized his mobile phone.

Police will allege the phone contained over 300 images of young people, including images taken in shopping centres.
On Thursday afternoon, police arrested a 29-year-old man at Nimbin and he was taken to Lismore Police Station.
He was charged with possess child abuse material, disseminate child abuse material, deal with identity information to commit indictable offence and film person in private act without consent.
He was refused bail and will appear in Lismore Local Court today.
