A MAN has been charged after allegedly posing as a teenage boy and grooming a 13-year-old girl for sex on the NSW Central Coast.
The 27-year-old is accused of engaging in sexually charged conversations with the young girl and exchanging explicit images over social media.
It’s alleged the man then threatened to post the images he had received when the girl stopped talking to him.

Following investigations, detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Milford Avenue at Panania on Tuesday morning and seized a mobile phone.
The 27-year-old man was arrested at Wyong Police Station the following day, on Wednesday afternoon.
He has since been charged with using a carriage service to groom a child under 16 for sex and to menace/harass/offend, and threaten to distribute intimate image without consent.
The man was remanded in custody overnight and due to appear in Wyong Local Court on Thursday.
