A MAN accused of a terrorist plot involving a public beheading is expected to apply for bail when he appears in a Sydney court on Friday.
22-year-old Omarjan Azari was arrested during sweeping pre-dawn terrorism raids in Sydney in September and is accused of conspiring with Islamic State member Mohammad Baryalei to execute a random member of the public.
Court papers from November suggest their plotting began on May 8, and the court heard Azari knew he was under police surveillance.
