A man has been released on strict conditional bail, as he awaits a court date for an alleged stabbing in Tweed Heads.
Police say the 31-year-old was heard yelling outside a Kennedy Drive unit complex on Thursday night, before he became involved in a verbal argument with a resident.
It’s alleged he then forced his way into the other man’s unit and the pair became involved in a physical fight.

Police were called and both men were taken to Tweed Hospital for treatment for lacerations.
Following investigations, the man was arrested on Saturday and charged with affray.
He’s been ordered to appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on 4 July.
