Man accused of using mobile phone to film up schoolgirl’s skirt in NSW

A MAN has been arrested and charged after he allegedly used his mobile phone to film up a schoolgirl’s skirt in Sydney’s south.

The 23-year-old man allegedly following the 14-year-old girl as she walked up a flight of stairs at Miranda Railway Station around 8.10am on Wednesday.

While making their way up the stairs, the man allegedly used his mobile phone to film up the girl’s skirt.

The incident was witnessed by a male who confronted the man, before later reporting the matter to police.

Following investigations, plain-clothed officers from the Police Transport Command arrested the 23-year-old man at Hurstville Railway Station this morning.

The officers followed the man on a train from Miranda before making the arrest.

Police seized the man’s mobile phone and laptop computer before taking him to Kogarah Police Station where he was charged with attempting to film private parts without consent.

He was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court on 13 December.
