Man airlifted to Brisbane hospital after cow attack

A MAN has been airlifted to a hospital in Brisbane after being attacked by a cow on the Sunshine Coast.

The man, aged in his 50s, was reportedly kicked by a cow on a property near Cooroy on Thursday morning.

He was treated by paramedics for head, neck and shoulder injuries before being airlifted to hospital.


The man was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter.

He’s said to be in a stable condition.

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter has attended to 44 patients around Queensland with animal related injuries so far this year, involving cows, bulls, horses, sharks, and snakes.
