Man airlifted to Gold Coast hospital after jet ski crash on Stradbroke Island

A MAN has been airlifted to hospital following a serious jet ski crash on Stradbroke Island.

It’s understood the accident happened near the Jumpinpin Bar around 11:30am on Sunday.

A man aged in his 40s suffered head injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene.


The patient was then transported to the RACQ LifeFlight rescue helicopter which had landed nearby.

He has since been flown to the Gold Coast University Hospital.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said the man was airlifted in a stable condition.
