Man allegedly busted drink driving after crashing car into Gold Coast home
A MAN has been charged with high-range drink driving after he allegedly crashed his car into a home on the Gold Coast.
The smash happened just after 8.00pm on Tuesday, when the vehicle ploughed into a house on K P McGrath Drive in Elanora.
Queensland Ambulance crews were called to the scene, but luckily no one was injured.
The driver of the vehicle, a 54-year-old man from Deception Bay, was charged by police after he allegedly registered a blood alcohol reading of 0.192, almost four times more than the legal amount.
He’s due to appear in Southport Court on August 14.
