Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Sydney’s north-west last night.
Emergency services were called to Betty Cuthbert Avenue in Ermington at around 11pm following reports that a man had been stabbed.
Police have been told a group of five people armed with weapons – two males and three females – approached and stabbed a 20-year-old man who was standing with a group of people on the footpath.

The man was taken to Westmead Hospital with a non-life threatening laceration to his right leg.
Detectives are now searching for the two males and three females who have all described as being of Asian appearance and aged in their early 20s.
Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
