Tragedy has struck the country town of Kingaroy, west of Brisbane, with a house fire claiming the lives of a man and two children.
Emergency services were called to the Kingaroy Street property shortly before 1pm on Saturday to find the building engulfed by flames.
Police confirmed in a statement that the three bodies were “believed to have been inside at the time of the fire”.

“(They) have been located deceased at the scene.”
While, miraculously a woman and another child were transported to Kingaroy Hospital.
The relationship of the man, woman and children has not been confirmed by Police.
A crime scene has been declared with detectives, scenes of crime officers and fire investigators attending.
“At this stage, the house continues to smoulder and is too hot for police to conduct a full inspection of the premises in order to ascertain the cause,” Police said in the statement.
“As is normal protocol, the fire is being treated as suspicious until it is deemed otherwise.”
