A man and woman have been killed after their car collided with a truck on a major highway in Queensland early this morning.
Emergency crews were called to the Bruce Highway near Torbanlea just before 2.00am.
Police say a sedan was heading south on the highway when it collided with a truck that was also headed south.

The male driver of the car and his female passenger, both from Maryborough, died at the scene. The truck driver managed to escape uninjured.
Forensic Crash Unit officers are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
It comes after eight people were killed within 72 hours on Queensland roads at the weekend.
