Man arrested after pointing toy gun at cars on the Gold Coast: report
A MAN who was allegedly seen waving a replica gun around on the streets of Southport has been arrested.
Police were called to Nerang St about 9pm Monday following reports a man was pointing a gun at passing cars.
Officers were quick to swoop on the area where they found the man who allegedly admitted to ditching a toy gun nearby.
He has been taken back to the Southport Police Station where he is assisting police with their inquiries.
