Man arrested, charged with indecently assaulting teen girl on train

A man has been arrested at a railway station in Sydney after a teenage girl was indecently assaulted on a train yesterday.

About 2.15pm, a 15-year-old girl boarded a train at Seven Hills.

Police said the girl sat down in the train when an unknown man approached and sat next to her, before attempting to speak to her.

The man then allegedly kissed the girl on the neck before indecently assaulting her as she attempted to move away.

A 21-year-old man was arrested a short time later and charged with aggravated indecent assault.

He was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court today.
