Man arrested, charged over stabbing in southern NSW

A MAN has been arrested and charged with reckless wounding after allegedly stabbing another man at a house in southern NSW this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to the Grafton Street home around 2am following reports a man had been stabbed.

The 39-year-old victims was treated by ambulance paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.


Police said the man was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital in a stable condition.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Goulburn Police Station for questioning.

He has since formally been charged with one count of reckless wounding.

The man was granted condition bail to appear before Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday, January 7.

Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are continuing.
