A man wanted over a double stabbing at Helensvale last week has been arrested on the Gold Coast.
The 50-year-old was taken into custody after being spotted in Surfers Paradise this afternoon.
His arrest comes after police were called to a home on Latrobe Street just before 10pm on August 10, where they found two men with multiple stab wounds.

Police allege an argument erupted between four men at the home resulting in the victims, aged 46 and 48, receiving stab wounds.
A 57-year-old Southport man was arrested at the scene and charged with attempted murder.
The second man, a 51-year-old who was taken into custody this afternoon, has been charged with one count each of attempted murder, wounding and enter premises with intent.
He is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
