CHARGES | Man formally charged with murder over death of two year old boy

UPDATE 2:24PM | A Logan man has been officially charged over the suspicious death of a 2-year-old boy at Kingston in April 2015.

The 28-year-old from Woodridge has been charged with one count each of murder, supply dangerous drugs and possess drug utensil. He has also been charged with four counts of possessing dangerous drugs.

He is expected to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Detectives continue their appeal for anyone with information which could assist in the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers.

EARLIER 9:04AM | Police are investigating the suspicious death of a two-year-old boy in Kingston north of the Gold Coast in April 2015.

The 29-year-old man from Woodridge was arrested for murder this morning.

Emergency services found the two year old unconscious at the home in Kingston.

He was taken to hospital where he died shortly after.
