A missing 12-year-old girl has been found at a man’s home in Sydney, almost 8 hours after she vanished from a skatepark.
About 5.30pm yesterday, the child was reported missing to police after she failed to meet her family, as she said she would.
Officers were told the child was at a skate park at Thornleigh earlier in the afternoon and was seen leaving with an unknown man and his young child.

Detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad immediately began an investigation, which led them to a home in Dural just after 1.15am this morning.
During a search of the home, officers found the 12-year-old girl who has since been taken to hospital for assessment, while a 37-year-old man was arrested at the property.
A crime scene was also established at the house and a vehicle was seized a short distance away, which will be forensically examined.
The man remains at Hornsby police station, where charges over the alleged abduction and sexual assault of the girl are expected to be laid.
Police say the other child remains in the care of family.
