Man refused bail over two aged-care deaths
UPDATE: LAKE Macquarie man Gary Davis has been refused bail following the murder of two aged care facility residents and the attempted murder of a third.
All three pensioners at the SummitCare, Wallsend aged care home were allegedly injected with terrifyingly high doses of insulin.
EARLIER: A MAN has been arrested in a NSW suburb this morning following the deaths of two people and a sudden illness of a third at an aged-care facility.
The 27-year-old man is allegedly responsible for the deaths of two residents, and the sudden illness of another at a Wallsend aged care home.
Detectives were called to investigate the suspicious passing’s after an 83-year-old woman died on the 18th October 2013 and a 91-year-old man died the following day.
A woman, 91, was also extremely ill with the same symptoms but managed to recover.
The man was arrested at Red Head this morning.
