Man arrested at Sydney Airport over shooting murder of Bankstown lawyer

DETECTIVES investigating the shooting murder of Bankstown lawyer Ho Ledinh have arrested a man at Sydney International Airport.

The 38-year-old man was allegedly attempting to board a plane for Bali when he was taken into custody by Strike Force Eugene investigators just before 10.00am.

He was taken to Mascot Police Station, where he is currently assisting with inquiries.


Local solicitor Ho Ledinh was gunned down while sitting at a cafe at Bankstown City Plaza just after 3.35pm on Tuesday 23 January.

Despite the efforts of police, NSW Ambulance Paramedics, and members of the community, the 65-year-old died at the scene.
