Man arrested after vehicle rams Gold Coast cop shop
A man has reportedly been arrested after allegedly crashing his vehicle into a Gold Coast police station.
According to Nine Gold Coast News, the incident unfolded in the car park section of the Mudgeeraba Police Station at around 4.30pm afternoon.
It’s understood a Toyota dual-cab ute mounted a footpath and smashed through a brick wall of the Railway Street building.
The driver, a man believed to be aged in his 50s, was taken into custody at the scene.

Nine News reports the man had initially tried to flee police.
It’s alleged he ran for around 100 metres before he was detained.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
