Man charged with murder after woman found dead in luxury Sydney home

UPDATE @ September 19, 9.00am: A MAN has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found at a home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

Officers made the grim discovery at the Marine Parade address around 10.45am on Monday, after receiving information a woman had been stabbed.

A 25-year-old man was arrested in nearby Ruskin Rowe and taken to Manly Police Station where he was charged with murder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The man was refused bail to appear before Manly Local Court today.

EARLIER @ September 18, 12.30pm: A CRIME scene has been established after a woman’s body was found at a home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches today.

Officers made the grim discovery at the Marine Parade address around 10.45am, after receiving information a woman had been injured.

A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested in nearby Ruskin Rowe and is currently assisting detectives with inquiries.

Police say initial investigations suggest the pair are known to each other.

Investigations into the woman’s death are ongoing.
