Man bashed, robbed by group of men in carpark

A man has suffered facial injuries after being bashed during a violent robbery in Beenleigh.

The 21-year-old was walking through a car park on Coral St just after 9.30pm when he was approached by four men who demanded his phone.

The group then assaulted the 21-year-old, repeatedly hitting him in the head and body.


Police allege one of the men also threatened the man with a knife during the assault.

All four men were then seen leaving on foot towards Beenleigh train station.

The victim suffered a swollen nose, lacerations and swelling to his lip and ear.

He was taken to Logan Hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
